ACA Compliance Considerations & Best Practices for Nonprofits
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is an ever-changing law that both for profit and not-for-profit businesses need to understand and stay current on. This session will bring you up-to-date with the latest ACA developments and discuss how to best prepare for ACA compliance and/or a review. We will discuss any updates to the ACA, documentation and reporting requirements including how to complete the forms and what to do when in receipt of an IRS notice. Common questions and examples will be explored.

Learning Objectives: Review the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and current updates. Discuss common misinterpretations of the ACA. Discuss the importance of identifying and documenting measurement periods. Outline current reporting requirements including IRC Section 6055 and 6056
